Job Description
- Bachelors degree in Business or Human Resources preferred.
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience.
- Experience within a manufacturing setting.
- Conduct contract employee orientations and pertaining paperwork for personnel files.
- Review personnel files for completeness and follow up on any incomplete paperwork.
- Ensure that new employee data is entered and transferred to the invoicing database.
- Perform background investigations, drug screening, e-verify and social security checks on contract employees, as necessary.
- Act as a liaison with the accounting department for new hire paperwork and employee inquiries concerning timecard and paycheck issues.
- Responsible for administration of eTime system for contract employees.
- Assist with the recruiting, retention, and onboarding of new employees.
- Engage local community through various community outreach events.
- Plan internal company events to foster employee engagement.
- Assist with benefits administration pertaining to healthcare coverage, 401k match policies, FMLA compliance, and more.
- Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Assist with general office management duties such as meeting organization, greeting guests, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
