A reputable law firm is seeking a hands-on HR Manager. The HR Manager will be responsible for onboarding, recruiting, an benefits this is a great opportunity to contribute to company and be a part of a strong team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing employee training materials
- Process and maintain 1-9 files
- Create and maintain audit files
- Process FMLA, STD, LTD, Workers Compensation
- Track wages and claims
- Conduct benefit open enrollment
- Create employment ads, run background/reference checks
- Conduct interviews
- Onboard new hires
- Create and maintain employee files
- Assist with processing payroll
- Provides on-site support to employees
- Supports team members with their work load as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or other related education, and a
- Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws and HR trends and changes.
- Computer skills: working knowledge in database software, payroll systems, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- SHRM certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills
