Delaware North is the concessions and retail partner at Bridgestone Arena dating back to 1996. The multipurpose venue is home to the NHL's Nashville Predators. We manage concession outlets and four clubs, including an exclusive lounge offering an all-inclusive food and beverage experience.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition and HR Operations teams to attract, hire, and on-board new team members.
- Be a bridge between your local and wider HR team; advocate for consistent best practices and share knowledge unique to your location.
- Mentor and oversee two HR Coordinators.
- Serve as a partner to the employees and department leaders.
- Develop and deliver training to new and existing team members, ensure they have a thorough understanding of their job functions, policies, procedures, and opportunities for growth
- Handle employee relations matters, including conducting investigations and complaint resolution
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in HR or similar field strongly preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Minimum two (2) years experience in an HR leadership position.
- Must have strong employee relations experience, including experience with investigations.
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
- Previous experience using iCIMS, Workday, or similar HRIS system.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Independent problem solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work most games and events, including nights, weekends and holidays.
