Human Resources Manager- Pro Action has an exciting opportunity available for a full time Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our Administrative Team.
The HR Manager will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities and staff of the HR department, including the development and integration of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) into administrative processes and workflows.
The HR manager must have a strong desire to develop and support the policies and procedures of the organization and provide assistance to coworkers and collaboration with agency committees and other staff within the agency. Must have strong communication/listening and customer service skills, along with the ability to monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Must maintain knowledge of current trends and best practices in all areas of Human Resources.
The HR manager must be able to work with highly sensitive information in a professional manner and maintain confidentiality. Strong problem solving and analytical skills are a must, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Providing supportive day-to-day guidance, supervision, and leadership to the HR staff effectively is important. The HR manager must be highly organized, prioritize attention to detail and accuracy, and able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously. Must demonstrate extensive knowledge and skill with computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and database systems.
Requirements
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field along with knowledge of Human Resources policies, programs and practices, health insurance, benefits and employee relations. A valid driver's license meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation are required for this position.
