As the Human Resources Manager, you will enrich lives every day by bringing Touchmark's values to life for each team member. Your influence will help to make this community a great place to live, work, and visit - whether that be through finding qualified, motivated candidates to join our team, providing counsel to employees and managers, or promoting a positive and productive workplace, you will help to ensure that each team member is serving as a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members.
The ideal candidate will:

• Be committed to Touchmark's values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity), and have the desire to model these values and encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers
• Possess a bachelor's degree in Human Resources management or other related field
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM designation preferred but not required
• Have at least three years of experience in a Human Resources role, with duties that include recruiting, onboarding, leave administration, workers' compensation, and employee relations.
• Have a working knowledge of Employment Standards and other employment laws
• Understand the importance of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
• Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and basic office equipment
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors
