Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for assisting leaders in developing and advancing appropriate strategic and organizational goals. Serves as the primary contact for all HR-related initiatives. Serves as an expert in the full cycle of HR operations and is responsible for understanding the business goals and needs of departments. Provides management and employees with consulting services in the areas of talent management, leadership coaching, and support. Leads the employee relations process, to address recruitment, performance management, and solutions to promote business needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage key HR daily functions, including recruiting/onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, health and safety, compensation plans, benefits, performance management, compliance, personnel records, and compliance, while aligning with our corporate HR policies, programs, and procedures.
- Manage day-to-day employee/benefits administration, including billing, enrollment, and changes.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and concerns. Solve routine and complex employee relations challenges in the field. Address and resolve employee conflicts and disputes in a fair and timely manner.
- Manage the performance management processes, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions. Advise and train managers on performance-related issues.
- Create compensation strategies for all employees based on market research and pay surveys and keep the strategy up to date.
- Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying issues, evaluating potential solutions, implementing selected solutions, and coaching and counseling managers and employees.
- Gather, review, and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and the employee experience. Monitor employee engagement levels and track key employee trends.
- Use change management strategies to guide the organization through transitions in structure, processes, or systems, ensuring minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Experience
- Required: Minimum five (5) years of professional level Human Resources Generalist/Manager experience.
- Preferred: Five (5) – seven (7) years of professional level Human Resources Generalist/Manager experience.
Related Experience
- In-depth understanding of employee relations, organizational culture, employee engagement, and HR best practices.
- Extensive knowledge of state/federal/local employment regulations and compliance.
- Ability to partner with and influence management and all levels of employees.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity within a complex, dynamic, and rapidly changing business environment.
- Flexible work style and approach based on operational needs/style and HR partnership.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.

Education
Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
