Key Purpose
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting employees with inquiries, questions, and requests relating to various People and Culture functions. This resource will also provide the HR department with fluctuating functional and administrative tasks. The role requires communication, collaboration, and teamwork within the department as it will support a variety of areas during any given time.

- Report to a People & Culture Business Partner and work in close partnership with the larger, ISS People & Culture Team

Ideal Candidate Experience
- 3 - 5 + years of Human Resources Experience to include coaching, counseling, conflict resolution and employee relations
- Minimum of a High School Diploma [or equivalent]
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or another related [Preferred]
- Bi-Lingual Communication Skills [Spanish Preferred]
- Current Utilization of Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated Organizational Skills [Desk, Documentation, Processes, Comms]
- Demonstrated Communication Skills [Oral, Written, Video/F2F]
- Demonstrated Customer Service & Solution Skills [Accurate, Verified, Innovative]
- Experience with Service Desk Applications [Preferred]
- Experience Electronic Filing and Records Management
- Experience with Data Reviews/Audits [accuracy, completion, grammar, formatting] from system generated reporting
- Experience with JIRA, Success Factors, JDE, and UltiPro a plus
- Union Experience a plus
- Human Resources Certification a plus
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain confidentiality of Organizational and Resource Data
- Professional, Timely Responses to Employee Inquiries, Questions and Requests via Case Ticketing System
- Create Service Ticket(s) to meet Service Level Agreement [SLA]
- Provide Resolution within a Tiered Escalation Process
- Collaborate with Internal & External HR Personnel regarding Escalation Items
- Organizational Documentation within All Phases of the Ticket Process
- Answer and solve HR inquires around unemployment claims, policies, I9 / E-Verify, general questions on Leave of Absence, HR systems, and company HR updates.
- Create White Paper Documentation for FAQ Repository
- Maintain Various Information Systems
- Service Desk Reporting [Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly]
- Provide HR Project Support
- Physical HR Mail Processing and Distribution
- Distribute, review, and provide instructions for HR Service Desk supported forms
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time as needed

The annual salary range for this position is $75700 per year - $93000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills, and may vary from the range listed above.
