Concilio is looking for an HR Generalist to join our growing HR department! We are looking for someone who loves streamlining processes and problem solving. Someone who will help ensure that HR operates efficiently and smoothly as directed. The HR Generalist will assist in running the daily functions of the HR department including hiring and interviewing staff, onboarding, HRIS management, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Recruits and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Plan, organize, direct, or coordinate the personnel relations activities of the organization.
- Plan and update new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
- Prepare and follow budgets for personnel operations.
- Maintain and update Human Resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, or performance evaluation forms.
- Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Overseeing & maintaining of HR records (electronic & physical).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least two years of human resource experience preferred.
- Must be resourceful, willing to establish and maintain good working relationships with a variety of clients, other professionals and parents of youth enrolled in programming.
- Must be willing to work with a team.
- Must understand the importance of confidentiality.
- Ability to pass FBI, Pennsylvania Childline and Criminal Background Checks.

- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
