About the Role
In this role you will drive HR initiatives and key people strategies within designated business to achieve business and associate established objectives. To achieve desired outcomes, this role supports and facilitates, in partnership with leadership, succession planning, talent mobility and serves as the key partner to cross-functional HR/Legal/Finance partners to drive HR solutions.
What You’ll Do
Maintain talent summaries and provide workforce planning analysis and support
Provide recommendations and insights based on analysis to HR leadership
Ensure accuracy of business unit and/or department open and active headcount and prepare deliverables as needed for HR leadership
Support Talent Assessment, Succession Planning and Talent conversations, connecting talent needs across the organization
Develop communication and implementation deliverables for business transformations
Conduct follow-ups with HR Partners in support of business changes
Creates job descriptions and outlines roles & responsibilities to support new structures and career pathing
Develops insights through analysis of data to share with Leadership
Provides analytics, trends, feedback and other data to drive business and talent decisions
Support and influence implementation and adoption of HR related initiatives across the organization
Contribute to continuous improvement of project and program delivery
Influences, negotiates, and facilitates solutions with internal partners and stakeholders (i.e. BUF, COE, SSC, Workday)
May lead cross-functional human capital initiatives across the entire organization
Provide Leadership day to day guidance, counsel and support of business and talent strategies
Identify and inform Managers on opportunities and approaches for cross-functional partner alignment
Advocate and reinforce Kohl's values and DEI initiatives
May be assigned additional responsibilities
What Skills You Have
Required
Bachelor degree, with an emphasis on HR/Business or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in associate relations or HR
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred
PHR or SPHR
Workday Experience
Advanced knowledge of Google (sheets, slides, docs)
