Job Description
An air conditioning company is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support the company with Human Resources needs. The ideal candidate is comfortable being in the position long-term, without room for growth. There will be an annual merit-based raised.
Responsibilities:
- Onboarding (applications, I9s, offer letters, drug screens, background checks)
- Off-boarding (collecting all company property and clearing them before receiving final check)
- Processing status changes (raises, promotions)
- Heavy data entry to enter the new hires info into our payroll and benefits systems and run E-verify
- Administer our new hire orientation (policies and insurance benefits)
- Schedule pending new hires for the next orientation (every Monday)
- Other duties as needed
Required Experience / Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Strong time management
- Must be dependable
- Bilingual preferred but not required
Compensation and Work Schedule:
- Pay rate: $22-$23/hr
- Monday – Friday | 8AM – 5PM
- This is an In-Office position | Office is in Round Rock
