IMMEDIATE job opportunity for a driven individual who has a proven track record of performance and desire to work for a well-established organization. We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Admin Support for a leading engineering group that designs and manufactures automated connection and electrification systems for ports, airports and industry worldwide located in Indianapolis, IN.
The Human Resource Admin Support will be filling in forms, adjust forms to keep it organized. The candidate needs to have some HR knowledge, the candidate will help with administration of things such as recruitment paperwork, onboarding administration, terminations and able to enter data into the company’s portal.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
• Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation
and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and
organizing team building activities
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations
• Be the point of contact for employment verifications
• Maintain and update employee database and prepare reports
• Run employee background checks
• Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices
• Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence
and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all.
other employee-relations matters
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook, HRIS systems, and
ability to learn new technical systems as needed.
• 4+ years’ Human Resources experience, in a manufacturing company preferred
• Multi-site (state) experience is required
• Well organized and methodical in approach to problem solving
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Must know how to make and implement policies and procedures
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Compensation: Pay rate $19 -$23 hr./DOE.
