Guardian Centers is seeking an Office Manager with Human Resource Experience. The Human Resources -Admin Manager is a dual role involving full spectrum human resources and office management responsibilities. This role is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level in the following HR areas: employee relations, benefits coordination, payroll, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment / employment, and employment law compliance. The admin manager component of this position is responsible for overall front office activities and ensuring the day-to-day activities are run smoothly. This individual will report directly to the CFO.
The ideal candidate should be optimistic, have strong leadership skills, and bring enthusiasm to the office and offer up new ideas and programs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Manages part time employees responsible for reception and gate security.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implements new employee onboarding and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Assists in updating and implementing the employee handbook and personnel policies and procedures, in conjunction with senior management.
- Maintains company organizational charts.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Maintains office files; implements an efficient system for other staff to access files and records.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to type at least 60 words per minute.

- Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
- At least five years of administrative and clerical experience required.
- At least three years of Human Resources Management experience preferred.
- Familiarity with ADP a plus.
- HR Certification a plus.
- Strong references.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily administrative work activities of the office.
- Supervises the work of part-time security staff and Administrative Assistant, as well as manage work schedules.
- Will be included in hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, while also enforcing policies and practices.
- May oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of staff in the department.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged period of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. at a time.

- Must be able to handle task with complete discretion.
- Must successfully pass a background check to include access to sensitive information.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and participate in the Company’s random drug screening program.
- Must be eligible to receive and hold a security clearance.
- Must be a citizen of the United States in good standing.
- Must have a valid Georgia Driver's license.
