Purofirst is part of a unique franchise system of highly-trained restoration professionals. With over 30 years of experience and expertise in the Property Damage Restoration and Mitigation field.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll
o Review employee time for payroll in QuickBooks
o Process payroll
o Do an unscheduled payroll for Commissions on the same day as regular payroll
o First payroll of the month pay Crew Leads their Phone usage stipends
o Compute and input 401K on Thursday after Payroll
o Review and calculate pay for 1099 employees
Monitor all insurance
o 401 K Surety Bond, Healthcare plan, Dental plan, Vision plan, Supplemental Insurance plans (Life, Disability, Hospitalization, etc.)
o Process workmans compensation claims
o Coordinate with new employees on their 60th day of employment to get registered for health and supplemental insurances
New Employee Forms
o Obtain necessary forms from employees (W-4, I-9, Direct Deposit, etc.)
o File and request background checks on all prospective employees
o Record and maintain Vacation and time off
o Coordinate unemployment claims
o Update and ensure proper enforcement of Employee Manual
o Track all Employee Counselings
o Coordinate with Temp Agencies for additional Temporary Employees
Collection
o Make collection calls after coordinating with LCS as to where payment is to be received (Customer, Insurance Company, Adjuster, or Mortgage Company)
o Receive all payments and ensure payments match billing
o Follow up with letter of intent to collect
o Small Claims when necessary
o Small Claims Court as final attempt
o File Lien with Attorney
Mortgage Company Packets
o Fill out Mortgage Company packet and fax to them
o Send endorsed checks to Mortgage Company
o Coordinate with Mortgage Company for funds releases and inspections
Other Duties as assigned
o Computer Program Installation and Update
o Telephone System Management
o Order Office Supplies
o DOT Registration and Unified Carrier Registration
o Answer phone calls as necessary
o Input jobs into program
o Calculate and fill out forms for Monthly and Quarterly Local Taxes
