Wood is currently searching for a Human Factors Specialist - Junior Level / Intern to participate on projects out of the Wood Houston - Park Ten campus. Project scope may vary, but will primarily focus on providing project support related to Human Factors, Signs and Labeling, and Permitting (administrative). Projects include both onshore and offshore facilities.
Due to the nature of the role, Wood will be considering local, qualified candidates first (Wood will not assist in relocation).

RESPONSIBILITIESCandidates should possess the following skills and attributes:
- Participate in Human Factors support on projects with guidance and direction from more senior staff. Will participate on projects ranging from smaller scale to large and complex projects.
- Participate in the development of project deliverables, including and related to: Human Factors package reviews, valve and instrumentation criticality analysis, and specification of signs and labeling.
- Capable of project discipline interface related to signs, labeling, and permitting support.
- Strong communication and interface skills between the technical safety team and other engineering disciplines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
- Occasional field visits, climbing stairs, ladders and lifting up to 25 lb
