Overview:
Join our Systems Engineering team and collaborate closely with Design Engineering to integrate Human Factors Engineering into military vehicles. This hybrid role requires up to 80% onsite presence and may involve eligibility to obtain a US security clearance.

Responsibilities:
As a Human Factors Engineer, you'll:
- Conduct HFE analysis to support design change recommendations
- Evaluate customers' HFE requirements and ensure vehicle compliance
- Support Systems Engineering in developing System Specification documents
- Plan and conduct compliance testing and design verification
- Generate HFE reports for management and the customer
- Manage Human/System Interface Databases, Hazard logs, Risk Registers, and Hazard Tracking
- Perform additional assigned duties
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Systems Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of professional HFE experience (Fewer years considered with an advanced degree)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work under tight timelines
- Proficiency with Human 3-D Modeling Software (JACK®, RAMSIS™, Santos™, etc.)
- Familiarity with Human System Integration philosophy and tasking
- Ability to work around military vehicles
- Willingness to work occasional evening and/or weekend overtime
- Professional certification in Human Factors/Ergonomics (e.g., CCCPE, BCPE)
- Experience in Human Factors/Ergonomics and System Safety in product design
- Familiarity with User-Centered Design philosophy and approaches
- Knowledge of safety and HFE related Military Standards (e.g., MIL-STD-882, MIL-HDBK-764, MIL-STD-1472)
- Ability to construct and update Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Event Tree Analyses (ETA)
- Understanding of Functional Failure Analysis
