Hse Intern (Summer)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in program implementation and continuation of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 certifications.
• Support with the implementation and continuation of Freudenberg-specific Environmental, Health, and Safety Programs as directed by Corp HSE.
• Assist, participate, and track actions related to Accident Investigations.
• Work with HSE personnel to maintain compliance with Local, State, and Federal Regulations.
• Assist with safety audits, chemical audits, LOTO audits, safety culture programs & tools, HSE committee, and other programs as identified.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Software Programs including, but not limited to: Sharepoint, Word, Excel, Planner, Outlook, & Teams.
• Drive & Execution: Shows initiative and a positive attitude to get things done. Embraces challenges and demonstrates positive energy.
• Technology: Experience with additional computer software and tracking programs a plus.
• Communication & Collaboration: Communicate clearly and concisely while engaging proactively with associates and colleagues at all levels within the organization.
• Knowledge: General knowledge of safety and systems thinking.
