The Amada Senior Care HR\Recruiter is responsible for the day-to-day recruitment, selection, and orientation of caregivers. The HR\Recruiter maintains personnel files, counsels, performs reviews and coordinates education for caregivers. A critical component of this role is to demonstrate the agency's culture of compassion, accountability, and results by displaying the highest standards of integrity, superb follow-through, consistency, first-rate customer service, and exceptional client satisfaction

QUALIFICATIONS
- Have a high school diploma
- 2 years of recruiting experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable making decisions independently, with a tenacious numbers oriented mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- Solid understanding of state employment laws and regulations
- Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.
- Local travel required to recruit at nursing schools, attend job fairs, partner with schools.
- Manage job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, perform phone screenings and conduct face-to-face interviews.
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations in NC.
- Perform background and reference checks.
- Manage onboarding and new hire process.
- Conduct orientation classes with new hires 1-2 times per week.
- Coordinate with Schedulers and provide all new hire information and availability.
- Conduct caregiver trainings
- Responsible for Caregiver Retention and Recognition through acknowledgement and incentive programs.
- Update daily Recruiting Intake Log
- Coordinate and communicate daily with Office Supervisor regarding performance evaluations, counseling issues incident reporting and separation issues.
- Make orientation packets and maintain a sufficient supply of Quizzes, Applications, Intake Forms and Interview Questions.
- Coordinate and communicate with Schedulers to get current information about caregivers
- Conduct Performance Evaluations for caregivers
- Conducts Counseling Evaluations for caregivers
- Cleans up caregiver census in AxisCare and updates (weekly)
- Call caregivers and get updated documentation: DL, Certinfo, Insurance info, CPR, TB Test
- Attend Weekly Staff Meetings
- Provide a weekly recruiting KPI tracker to present at staff meeting with interviews for the week.
- Weekly send out Application Rejection Letters.
- Assist Office Supervisor and follow-up on unemployment mail that comes to the office and inform Administrator/Alternative Administrator.
- Monthly send out Inactive Employee Letter to get employee roster updated.
- Send out separation notice to inactive caregivers to clean up employee roster and stay on top of any issues.
- Review Worker's Compensation open cases and update staff.
- Review EDD (Unemployment) cases and update staff.
