About MoMA Human Resources:
MoMA is currently accepting applications for an HRIS Analyst position. MoMA's Human Resources is responsible for supporting the institution's mission through the successful sourcing, recruiting, onboarding, training and ongoing development of staff and interns.
Position summary:
The HRIS Analyst provides critical support for overall human resources strategy using UKG Pro, The Museum of Modern Art's human resource information system (HRIS). Support includes overseeing all system upgrades, enhancements, data integrity, system maintenance, and leveraging the system for reporting and analysis to inform Museum-wide and department-level human resources strategy.
Additional specific responsibilities include:
HRIS system maintenance/uploads
  • Maintains HRIS (UKG Pro), including modules, access and workflows.
  • Ensures appropriate interface/communication with the Payroll department.
  • Provides support for HRIS maintenance, including researching and resolving HRIS errors.
  • Assists with compensation planning and performance management using the HRIS.
  • Serves as technical point of contact for all UKG Pro users from managers to individual employees. Provides subject matter expertise to users, ensures data integrity, tests system changes, writes reports, and analyzes data flows for process improvement opportunities.

HRIS updates and training
  • Leads and manages all HR initiatives with regards to HRIS implementations, upgrades and changes aligned with HR strategy.
  • Collaborates with HR, Payroll, and Finance to plan, modify, and customize HR systems and to best test new applications and features.

  • Maintains an awareness of current trends/options as it pertains to UKG Pro enhancements/HRIS technology and makes recommendations to HR colleagues for changes.

  • In conjunction with the HR team, develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation to train users on general system use and new processes/functionality.
  • Develops and maintains user documentation and training materials, trains Managers on key HRIS features such as Recruiting and Compensation Planning.

Data and role integrity
  • Manages, maintains, and performs routine audits of security settings and role assignments.
  • Reviews and updates user security roles to improve business needs.
  • Performs quarterly audits of role distribution by employee and a yearly check-in with Managers to ensure those with roles greater than Employee only access have the proper access.
  • Creates proper BI access roles based on an individual's security role in Core.

Reporting and analytics
  • Collaborates with and supports departments in leveraging the Museum's HRIS to develop tracking, reporting, dashboards and other analytical tools.
  • Provides general support in the areas of people metrics and reporting. Creates, maintains, and ensures quality assurance of key human resources data sets, reports, and metrics. Assists in the development of standard and automated reports for ongoing needs.
  • Develops HR dashboards and analytics tools to streamline HR processes and provide actionable insights.
  • Undertakes detailed monthly and quarterly financial analyses of the Museum's payroll and benefits budgets, collaborating with the Museum's Finance department on a regular basis.
  • Supports special projects related to the Museum's personnel and benefits investments, creating relevant financial models and data reports to assist in the decision making process.
  • Performs any other duties reasonably related to the functions described above.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business, or a computer discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of four years relevant experience as an HRIS analyst/administrator, UKG Pro/Time Management experience highly preferred.
  • Compensation Planning experience strongly preferred.
  • Report building capabilities in Business Intelligence or similar HRIS reporting module.
  • Working knowledge of Document Manager and People Assist preferred
  • Ability to create integrations between HRIS and outside vendors.
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users and to all levels in the organization.

Reports to: Assistant Director, Human Resources with dotted line to Director of Finance.
Salary range: Minimum of $90,000 to maximum of $115,000 per annum
