Job Summary:
The HR Service Delivery, Senior Specialist is the primary driver of transactional employee life cycle needs, covering topics ranging from Onboarding, Benefit coordination, LOA and ADA processing, Unemployment, and general employee services. This role provides support and guidance on our policies, procedures, programs, and compliance while supporting the Director of HR in other projects as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the HR product owner for our employee-facing content and case management tool
  • Provides efficient and detailed communication to all employees regarding health and welfare, financial benefits as well as other human resources related topics as needed.
  • Manage third-party Unemployment claim responses and hearings. This includes serving as the main point of contact for the third-party vendor and ensuring responses are thorough and all applicable evidence documentation is provided in a timely manner.
  • Support Director of HR in ensuring compliance by monitoring, implementing, and reporting applicable HR federal and state requirements (OSHA, EEOC, BLS, FMLA, ADA, etc)
  • With expanded HRIS access this individual will ensure HRIS inbox tasks related to employee Benefits, Status changes, and Leave requests (Bereavement, Military, Unpaid LOA, Paid Parental LOA, FMLA, Short Term disability etc) are completed and supporting documentation attached.
  • Responsible for reinforcing company policies and procedures to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Under direction of the HR Director, this individual will take lead on enterprise-wide policy development and deployment, as well as HR program delivery (Benefits Open Enrollment, updated policy roll outs in HRIS, NHO, etc)
  • Responsible for heading post at fault vehicle accident HR process and ensuring applicable policy and procedures are followed.
  • Acts as main point of contact for BG, MVR and Drug screen inquiries with third-party carrier. Serves as second person reviewer on BG/MVR/Drug screens in question (collaboration with Onboarding coordinator for new hires and HRBP's for post hires/active employees)
  • Perform periodic audits as requested and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Experience in a high growth working environment
  • Superior knowledge of MS Office, HRIS platforms (WorkDay experience a plus) and comfortable learning new technology systems as needed
  • Must possess excellent organizational and time-management skills with critical-thinking ability
  • Self-starter, motivated and detailed/results oriented
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to exercise the appropriate level of judgement and initiative related to HR administrative tasks and functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required
  • Ability to connect and effectively communicate with people at all levels

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor Degree in HR, Business or related field
  • Prefer 5+ years' experience in any HR related function (coordination, process, data, compensation). Will take experience in lieu of college degree.

Work Environment:
Employee works in an office setting (Corporate office located in Orem, UT) with potential of working a hybrid schedule (up to 2 days per week from home)
