Payroll/Recruiting Specialist:

Full time with Benefits, Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm in office

JOB SUMMARY & QUALIFICATIONS

Navistar Defense (Manufacturing Plant) in West Point, MS is seeking a Payroll/Recruiting Specialist to help support weekly payroll and recruiting functions for our site. The position is supervised by the Site HR Manager. Preferred candidates will have at least 3-5 years' experience with payroll/timeclocks and at least 2-3 years of recruiting and onboarding employee experience. Experience with Acumen timeclocks, People Soft or ADP a plus. Must be self-motivated, extremely detail orientated, extremely organized, honest, and understand the importance of confidentiality, discernment, and professional conduct and appearance. Must be proficient in Excel and Word. Prefer someone with a HR Degree or Certification, but not required.

JOB FUNCTIONS

· Payroll Assistance: pulling reports from timeclock system, managing changes in ERP (People Soft) system, providing complete and accurate payroll reporting to company’s payroll manager on a timely basis. Some onboarding functions in ADP.

· Recruiting: application tracking, screening resumes and applications, setting up interviews, conducting applicant screening and 1st interviews.

· Hiring: sending electronic onboarding information, ensuring all onboarding documents are uploaded and complete, ensuring background check and drug screen are completed satisfactorily.

· Onboarding: schedule and conduct new hire training

· Tracking Attendance: maintaining the point system and reporting out weekly

· Other HR Duties As Assigned
