As the HR Shared Services Specialist, you serve as the front line of customer support within the HR Shared Service Center and collaborate closely with the assigned HR Business Partner(s) at each of the Sonepar USA operating companies. In addition to providing excellent customer service, you serve as a primary lead in processing one or more of the Sonepar USA operating company’s payroll and handles many of the day-to-day administrative tasks and inquiries, including HR, Benefits, and Payroll related transactions.

 

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years relatable work experience
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong PC skills, particularly MS Excel
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, plus if in fields of HR, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Experience with payroll and time software systems, specifically Dayforce a plus
  • Working knowledge of Federal & State Laws a plus
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ability to work in a highly confidential environment
  • Exudes a high attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable with heavy data entry to ensure a high accuracy rate
  • Ability to adapt to a fast pace changing environment and to approach challenges with creativity and resourcefulness
  • Initiative and self-direction; can apply knowledge and make sound judgment to effective resolve issues
  • Outstanding organizational and client service skills
