THE OPPORTUNITY:
The HR Operations Partner (HRBP) - Hybrid role contributes to the company’s performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives. Performs HR-related duties at the professional level while supporting the assigned functional group, mainly the Supply Chain and 4 Distribution Centers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serves as a liaison between HR, Supply Chain and DC Leaderships to align HR strategy to business strategy.
• Facilitate staffing initiatives with DC leadership and Temp Agencies.
- Provide support in New Hire onboarding for Walton Hills DC (on-site days).
- Provides day-to-day recommendations to leadership on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; talent management and development; and consultation.
- Acts as change agent to business through process approaches that support change to lead mutual processes to best practice status.
• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions; programs and policies.
• Supports annual HR cycle deliverables to include performance reviews; Learning Café Training Modules, benefits enrollment; etc.
• Evaluates issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solution i.e. training to address certain needs.
• Partners with Payroll; HRIS; and Total Rewards functions as needed to provide solutions for team members.
• This role may be asked to support other locations as needed, but their main customer base are Distribution Centers and Supply Chain Team.
- Will provide back-up to other HRBP functions/regions as needed.
- All other duties assigned.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Experience – 5 to 6 years of HR experience with at least 2-3 years of experience in HR Liaison/Consultant/Partner or similar experience.
- Minimum Education – Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Business related field
- Requires knowledge of HRIS databased (ADP or similar) and MS Office Suite
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in supporting Distribution Center population is a plus
- or HR Professionals certification a plus

WORK ENVIROMENT:
This is a Hybrid position with most communications be done at Walton Hills Home Office and telecommunications are facilitated through web-based programs, emails, and or telephone..In addition, many in-person interactions will be facilitated with team members within the Distribution Center, thus this team member must be okay with being in this type of environment. 2-3 Days Onsite and remaining days will be Remote.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal office environment, ability to sit for 8 hours or more, occasionally stand and operation office equipment.
Ability to walk around Distribution Center as support as needed.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Some travel may be required upon request of HR Leadership and or as needed.
