Job Description
The HR Onboarding Specialist will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition and is responsible for coordinating, executing, and actively managing onboarding activities for new hires from the hired stage through orientation and beyond. This includes interacting with new hires and hiring managers to ensure that the company obtains and completes necessary onboarding documentation on a timely basis and per compliance of state, federal and company regulations. The Onboarding Specialist works closely with Recruiting, Human Resources, and Payroll departments to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. As a member of the Onboarding team, your primary responsibility is to provide a best-in-class onboarding experience to our internal and external customers.

Job Qualifications
Education:
- HS Diploma/GED required.
- Bachelor's degree (preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum one to three (1 - 3) years in experience in HR and/or Customer Service environment.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with, knowledge of, and ability to apply excellent customer service practices.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office product (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:
- The HR Onboarding Specialist is responsible for coordinating, executing, and actively managing onboarding activities for new hires from the hired stage through orientation and beyond.
- This includes interacting with new hires and hiring managers to ensure that the company obtains and completes necessary onboarding documentation on a timely basis and per compliance of state, federal and company regulations.
- Research discrepancies revealed through background checks and drug screens and coordinate resolution with involved parties.
- Escalate as appropriate any exceptions to established policies and procedures to leader according to department protocols.
- Communicate with candidates, team members, leaders, and onboarding partner organizations to ensure all aspects of the process are successfully completed and any delays are known, shared, and planned.
- Provides customer service that demonstrates Traditions Health values consistently to its internal and external customers.
- Work collaboratively with recruiter to understand unique aspects of each hire to ensure compliance and positive hiring and onboarding experience.
- Manages own workload by applying an understanding of team priorities.
- Work with the onboarding supervisor on projects, to improve the boarding process.
- Other duties, as assigned by supervisor.
