Qualifications:
The incumbant will provide advice and counsel to managers on LABOR RELATIONS matters, including CBA's and grievance handling.
Responsibilities: - Provides direction, coaching, and advising to management in interpreting and communicating Labor Relations (LR) policies, procedures and practices as they relate to resolving Team Member issues. Must be able to speak confidently to upper management and corporate HR.
- Maintain a working knowledge of industry best practices and be knowledgeable of changing laws pertaining to Human Resources.
- Communicates daily and weekly terminations with appropriate departments.
- Conducts Team Member related investigations, especially highly sensitive issues of sexual harassment and discrimination.
- Conducts termination meetings.
- Act as the Employer Representative for Unemployment Appeals.
- Prepare for and participate in Team Member Board of Reviews.
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Other assignments as directed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of Team Member Relations experience.
- Bachelors/Associates Degree in HR or related discipline preferred.
- Experience in casino and/or hotel environment preferred.
May be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays as business demands dictate.
