This position is a key role in the People and Culture management team responsible for multistate payroll, benefits, leave management, P&CIS configuration, key metric visibility, onboarding management, unemployment, state, federal and internal compliance, departmental budgeting, annual audits and filings, and compliance. Partners with other internal leaders on projects like employee engagement surveys, and wellness initiatives.
Directs the planning, development, implementation, and administration of all human resource programs for all areas, including but not limited to, employment, compensation, benefits, and associate relations. Manages, directs, and evaluates the organization's programs related to recruitment, development, and retention of associates.
JOB DUTIES
Manage direct report(s) within the payroll area providing guidance related to the daily operations and monitoring regulations
Manage direct report(s) within the benefits area to ensure Plans are administered by the clerk according to regulations
Ensure Benefit Plans are accurately configured in HCM system and oversee open enrollment
Actively participate in benefit plan selection by collaborating with Broker and guiding direct report in building data within HCM
Communication with Healthcare Broker on an ongoing basis for troubleshooting activities
Administrator of Ceridian/Dayforce HCM to include troubleshooting, updating configuration of modules, and task management
Annual 401k audit
Proactively analyze and improve local processes with suggestions of optimization and harmonization, participation in tools and processes development
Develop, rollout and audit P&C Operations policies & procedures
Partner with key stakeholders on managing employee information for P&C Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, Talent Acquisition, P&C Compliance, management, audit agencies, planning and analysis, benefits, and compensation
Oversee onboarding process for all new hires and other status change requests
Be a subject matter expert on Dayforce as it relates to template management and P&C modules
Review offers letters and offer packages for consistency
Monitor key metrics and report out regularly
Oversee and ensure that the company is compliant with all state, federal and company employment laws, including but not limited to, I-9 and E-Verify submissions, labor law postings, child labor certificates, annual EEO-1, ACA, 1095C, PCORI 720, Medicare Part D, COBRA, benefits documentation, adverse action and W2s.
Maintains site organizational charts
Responsible for the development of the People and Culture departmental business planning and budget preparations
Research and propose competitive compensation and incentive programs to ensure the organization maintains competitiveness to attract and retain top talent
Monitor internal P&C systems (mail inbox) and databases
Review and approve or modify budgets
Manage the process of benefits invoice audits P&C throughout the fiscal year
Other duties as assigned
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Human Resources Certification preferred
Ten (10) years progressive Human Resources experience
Demonstrates solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business
Effective communication and critical thinking skills
