Hr Generalist

Idera is a high growth, highly profitable multinational software company owned by multiple private equity companies, including TA Associates and HGGC. We are seeking a talented, forward-thinking individual to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist. The purpose of this position is to provide human resource expertise and collaborate with the HR Team. We are searching for an energized “go-to” HR pro to master the following
responsibilities:

• 
  Administers company 401k plan, including annual 401k audits and Non-Discrimination testing
• Process unemployment, FMLA and Leave of Absence requests
• Assists with Benefit bills reconciliation
• Develop and maintain our affirmative action program; collaborate with our AAP/EEOC auditors to file EEOC annual reports; and maintain other records and reports to conform with EEO regulations
• Help define HR guidelines and policies and ensure compliance with labor laws on the federal and state level
• Review employee data and approve transactions in the HRIS to ensure data integrity necessary for reporting and analysis
• Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, or government law
• Manage special HR projects

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or related experience.
• Strong service orientation, positive “can do” attitude.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Organized and capable of executing multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
• Self-starter who adapts to a rapidly changing environment and is able to excel with limited direction or supervision
• Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience working with UKG is a plus
