Job description

TAS United provides highly personalized, secure call center services for our clients across the United States. With a focus on medical call processing, our bilingual agents handle calls 24/7/365.

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources department in Puerto Rico to support and contribute to our positive and inclusive workplace culture. Experience as an HR Generalist in the United States is required for this position. Responsibilities will include daily administrative support, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and recruiting tasks.

This will be a full-time position where pay is based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. This will be a remote work position, with regular visits to our Guaynabo office. Travel to our Texas locations for site visits may be required but on a limited basis.

Position Responsibilities Include:

1. Manages end-to-end recruitment processes such as posting job requisitions, forwarding resumes to hiring managers, assisting with interviews, sending offer letters and other onboarding material to selected candidates.
2. Conducts employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration for new hires and completes relevant paperwork and policy review for employee onboarding.
3. Handles inquiries related but not limited to policies, benefits administration, employment verifications and unemployment queries.
5. Handles employee relations matters, conducts investigations, and provides advising on conflict resolution.
6. Updates and maintains the HRIS system (Paycom). This includes tasks such as monitoring document and checklist completion, payroll processing, employee documentation review and approval, among other tasks.
7. Assists with managing access groups for supervisors and management within the HRIS platform (Paycom).
8. Assists with processing bi-weekly payroll and associated tasks such as final payouts, manual checks, and garnishments.
9. Ability to remain unbiased and keep relationships with all employees professional.
10. Ability to accept constructive feedback and act on recommendations.
11. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements:


EDUCATION: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Some College or SHRM/HRCI certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1-2 years' experience in human resources. Preferable experience using Paycom HRIS/Payroll Software.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Preferred SHRM/HRCI certification.
KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE: Knowledge of recruitment processes and I-9 documentation requirements. Demonstrates excellent communication & written skills. Dependable, reliable, and trustworthy with a high level of integrity. High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness. Demonstrate excellent time management. Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
