We are looking for an HR Coordinatorto undertake a variety of HR support duties, in our Atlanta, GA office. This role will work in a hybrid work environment.
Position Summary
The HR Coordinatorwill be responsible to help organize, coordinate, and carry out human resource department projects and processes for the Corporate office. This position will work directly with and assist employees and the HR team to fulfill a variety of necessary HR tasks.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service in day-to-day HR operational support to employees and managers.
- Process all new hire paperwork and onboarding, including gathering documentation, conducting new hire orientation, explanation of benefits, company policies and procedures.
- Complete and manage all I-9s for new hires and re-verifications.
- Responsible for processing timesheet and payroll data input and ensure the accuracy of payroll data for each employee.
- Update all employee information in HRIS and other systems, ensuring that employee changes are entered correctly and timely.
- Provide reporting of data changes to other HR departments as needed.
- Assist with planning employee engagement events, such as community outreach projects, visitor hosting, internship program events, wellness events, etc.
- Prepare presentations and HR documents, including employee letters and offboarding documents.
- Update compliance posters throughout the facility.
- Process unemployment information requests.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Desired Professional Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or relevant field preferred.
- 1 year of overall HR experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Prior experience working with Workday highly desired.
- High attention to detail is a must for this position.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use good judgement and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
