Lanco, a worldwide leader in industrial equipment manufacturing, is looking for a Business Process Analyst to join our Human Resources team in this newly created position. In this role, you will map HR processes and identify areas of improvement. The incumbent will be a part of Lanco Digital Transformation journey and will collect, manage and analyze HR polices, processes, and procedures to streamline, improve, automate, and create companywide consistent practices to increase internal and external department efficiency.
Following an introduction period, this role can become a hybrid role located primarily on-site at our Hazel Crest, IL location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, report, present on, and streamlines HR Processes (recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, employment activities, compensation, etc).
- Recommend improvements by identifying opportunities to align business procedures with information technologies.
- Examine the best practices of businesses and technological developments to automate and streamline Business Processes efficiently.
- Assist in the review and updating of current policies and the creation and implementation of new policies.
- Provides daily direction, support, job aides and training to HR staff to ensure quality output on time and on budget.
- Uses value stream mapping to flow chart and evaluate and suggest improvements to the various human resources processes.
- Coordinates the human resources department workflow process improvements by working in coordination with key stakeholders.
- Continuously monitors performance and implements improvements at the user level and by the individual process to identify bottlenecks and areas requiring improvement.
- Reviews internal drive files and recommends improvements for better data management.
- Implements HR process Initiatives using JIRA project management tools.
- Works in collaboration with Lanco’s Change Management Office and the Project Management Office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- At least 2 years of experience documenting, training, and supporting end users on systems and processes.
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources best practices.
- Expertise with data management tools.
- Project Coordination experience using project management tools.
- Detail oriented and deadline driven.
- Highly organized, documenting and reporting skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Resourceful and able to conduct effective and efficient research
- Develop and present Business Process based training to a diverse audience
- Maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information
- Work with minimum supervision
