Position: Human Resources Business Partner - Training & Development
Location: Huntington, WV
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills, performance, and productivity.
- Identify training needs through assessments, surveys, and consultation with managers.
- Design and deliver effective training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
- Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.
- Collaborate with management to align training with the strategic goals of the company.
- Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness and adjust as needed.
- Stay current on trends and developments in training and development, including technology and innovations in learning and education.
- Provide support and guidance in areas of employee development, performance management, and career progression.
- Foster a positive learning environment and a culture of continuous development and improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a training and development role within a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of training methodologies, adult learning principles, and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development programs.
- Proven track record of facilitating corporate training sessions and workshops.
- Knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively across various departments and levels within the organization.
- Certification in training and development, such as CPTD or similar, is preferred.
