Job description

Ingredion is hiring for a HR Business Advisor, Global Shared Services. This position will be based in Ingredion's Tulsa Shared Service Center. This role is designed to advise and coach leaders to unleash people and organization's potential by building an inclusive culture with contemporary values. This role drives high engagement and performance, providing front line support in the areas of talent, employee engagement, capability building, team effectiveness and change management delivering HR strategy, initiatives, and programs to the organization.
Core Responsibilities:

  • Actively advise and coach leaders on solutions related to workforce, talent, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness and change management
  • Provide support and solutions to leaders based on understanding of emerging trends, relevant talent market, business operations and strategies and change needs
  • Build management and leadership capability to enable high performing organization and team. Assisting in managing talent processes including the organizational planning process driving actionable outcomes to ensure available talent to meet short- and long-term business needs. Driving development of high potential talents and programs to retain talent.
  • Providing coaching and guidance to managers on maximizing performance and executing effective talent processes, i.e. career development, performance feedback, retention and employee relations.
  • Champion the organizational values and culture and partner with managers to embed and build values-based culture
  • Work with leadership to create positive and high engaging inclusive work environments. Providing guidance, consultation and coaching to managers in interpersonal, team and organizational effectiveness
  • Advise on and support organizational change initiatives to maximize employee experience and deliver change outcomes
  • Partner and leverage resources from the Centers of Excellence to implement HR solutions that meet the distinctive challenges of the business

Qualified candidates will have:
Mandatory requirements:
  • Degree holder with 5 plus years of experience as HR Business Partner in progressive organization.
  • Broad and diverse strategic and operational HR experience. Strong business insights with an understanding of how to develop HR solutions to support business execution.
  • Versatile and competent in current Human Resource practices and policies experience.
  • Broad awareness of Employment Law and implication, able to manage complex ER issues.
  • Demonstrable ability to influence, persuade and collaborate across all organizational levels and functions.
  • Strong project management, presentation, communication and mentoring skills. Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Thrive in creating an engaging, high performing and a values-based culture
  • Demonstrate consulting agility to build leadership, team and individual capability while modeling and implementing talent practices and processes
  • Demonstrate business fluency and have successful experience in contributing effectively to business leadership teams.
  • Adapt to emerging trends and can insightfully use functional knowledge and experience to drive delivery of goals. Translates actionable plans into clear objectives to enable delivery
  • Build and foster relationships and collaboration and trust by delivering on promises. Enable others, build relationships and work productively with internal and external partners.
  • Experience working in a shared-service environment is a plus.
