In the last decade, we've seen exponential growth in revenue and headcount, and we're looking for an experienced HR and Talent Acquisition Manager to be a key player in our continued success. Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies, managing one internal recruiter and collaborating with external agencies.
  • Oversee the recruitment process from job posting to hiring, ensuring alignment with our company goals.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to create impactful job descriptions and streamline the talent acquisition process, while respecting the final hiring decisions made by business leaders.
  • Create a robust talent pipeline by building relationships with schools, employment organizations, and attending career fairs

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as the go-to expert on HR compliance, providing support and advice to department heads, who retain final decision-making authority.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies to ensure legal compliance and alignment with industry standards.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, conducting investigations and offering guidance on complex issues.

Performance Management:

  • Implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate and enhance employee performance.
  • Assist in developing career growth plans, offering coaching and counseling on performance-related matters.

Training and Development:

  • Lead initiatives in leadership development and succession planning.
  • Be the Predictive Index expert on our team, leveraging this tool to maximize employee potential.
  • Continuously improve our new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Mentor employees in the organization as they grow in their career with us.

Compliance and Legal:

  • Stay abreast of labor laws and ensure company-wide compliance.
  • Manage HR documentation and records with utmost diligence and accuracy.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of HR and recruiting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (SHRM certification is a plus).
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (experience with Paycor is advantageous).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges.
  • A track record of ownership in the successes or areas of improvement within an HR department.
  • Comfortable with training in both group and one-on-one settings.
  • Skilled in building trust and rapport across all levels of the organization.
