Your Responsibilities & Essential Job Duties:

Daily Deposit

• Verifies daily deposit for accuracy and inputs into CDK
• Reconciles cash account (1188) daily and sends report to Brooke for review.
• Closes any tickets as needed.
• Monitors open tickets that need cashiering
• Deposits remotely to the bank daily

Part and Service Schedules

• Maintain parts schedules to ensure correct account and payments are received
• Post daily batches of payments to bank account
• Includes extended warranty, Internet sales, COD, MyKaarma, PayPal, and Heartland

Handles Hire Process

• Drug screening
• Background check – GM/VP approvals as needed
• Submits new hire notices
• Sets up training
• E-Verify (within 3 days of working)
• Completes employee file (file turned into Brooke for complete review)
• Submits termination notices (Brooke to review all termination notices)
• Handles transfers and sending checklist to HR

Payroll

• Submits weekly payroll
• Makes time keeping adjustments
• Ensure maintenance, compliance and security of Jim Ellis Employee files: active, terminated and non-hired applicants
• Maintains separate files for I-9s and personal info (active and termed)

Parts Manufacturing Statement

• Post all invoices on parts statement
• Reconcile before end of month close and send to Brooke for review and sign off

Additional Duties

• Payoff floorplans daily for Porsche
• Assist auditor in floorplan audit
• Back up billing and title clerk as needed
• Orders office supplies and Sam’s Club items as needed

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Minimum of 18 years of age to be able to drive for the company
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts
• Prior Automotive accounting experience preferred
