Greet public and refer them to appropriate staff members, answer phones, route calls, and take messages. Cooperate in the maintenance and/or modification of data collection system. Prepare payroll. Assist with completion of necessary statistical reports as requested.
Compile statistical information as requested. Develop and maintain administrative system. Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail including bulk mail. Maintain front desk area, keeping it clean and free from clutter.
Type and word process documents as needed. Order office supplies and monitor inventory. Produce mailing labels and reports as requested. Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with employees, peers, and consumers responsible for all or part of these areas as assigned: developing and recruiting for events such as Job Fair, staffing logistics, organizational and evaluations management and organization development, employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting, employee orientation, development, and training; employee relations; compensation and benefits administration.
Interview job applicants; review application/resume; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant’s qualifications. Administer and explain benefits to employees, serve as liaison between employees and insurance carriers. Schedule training and development courses. Provide advice, assistance, and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
Maintain human resource filing systems and assist in developing and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements. Develop and update tracking systems necessary in daily operation. Create and maintain employee files and records, assures completeness of files. Responds to public inquiries on positions available in employment.
Log and expedite complaints and assign to appropriate person; maintaining a grievance log Report monthly for HRM’s review. Performs all other job duties as assigned.
