The role you’ll contribute:
The HPB Research Fellow (“Fellow”) is a 12-month position designed to assist in the research of the AdventHealth Research Institute (AHRI) and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Clinical Program. The Fellow will utilize their clinical knowledge and skills to assist with development of research studies including assisting with proposals, protocols, and procedures. The Fellow will participate in the full spectrum of research activities including literature reviews, data.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Utilizes clinical knowledge and skills to assist with related clinical research studies.
- Designs, constructs, and implements research proposals, protocols and procedures.
- Performs literature searches as relevant to the assigned research topic.
- Participates in data collection and analysis of research data in collaboration with Biostatisticians and other research team members.
- Prepares abstracts, scholarly manuscripts and presentations (where applicable) to communicate results of the research to the broader scientific community.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- M.D., D.O., and/or PhD or international equivalent in a scientific field
- Established competency in research as evidenced by published (peer reviewed) research and/or prior work experience
