Responsibilities:
Ø Provide administrative support to the Director and for the housing program including legal and public policy functions and immigration/refugee services,
Ø Perform general office duties including processing mail, preparing general correspondence, filing, copying, and faxing.
Ø Provide potential service recipients with eligibility and general information about the program and related community resources.
Ø Liaise with funding sources, government and regulatory agencies, property management and other vendors to exchange information, resolve/report service issues and facilitate achieving program goals.
Ø Record and oversee contracts, service agreements, required licenses, permits and renewals.
Ø Perform occasional site visits related to special events planning and logistics.
Ø Maintain general departmental bookkeeping such as handling petty cash, preparing vouchers and monitoring/tracking office expenditures.
Ø Participate in the “front desk” Secretary/Receptionist rotation as a member of the Shared Services team in the Administrative Office.
Qualifications:
Ø HS Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Ø Three years of well-developed administrative and client service skills.
Ø Advocacy experience helpful
Ø Project management/event planning skills are a strong plus
Ø Must be able to travel locally to various work sites
Schedule: full time – 35 hours per week – 9 am – 5 pm
_ Rate of Pay_: $23.50 per hour
This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
