SalaryThe Hopeful Horizons’ Housing Coordinator is based out of our emergency domestic violence shelter and works with shelter and outreach clients. The Housing Coordinator provides case management, advocacy and supportive services to survivors and helps them: identify their housing needs, seek housing and coordinate move-in logistics. The Housing Coordinator also determines eligibility for participation in Hopeful Horizons’ transitional housing program and works to build relationships with local management companies and property managers. The Housing Coordinator works with program participants to increase their skills and their income, so they have the confidence and tools to live independently.
Qualified applicants must: have a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field or equivalent experience in human services; obtain Victim Service Provider Certification within one year of employment, work well independently and as a member of a team; have good computer skills and strong communication skills; have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Candidates who are bilingual in English/Spanish are encouraged to apply.
Work Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with occasional weekends and/or weeknights depending on client needs.
Salary: Starting at $42,000
