Job Description

Western States Lodging & Management is looking to fill 7 Housekeeping/Laundry positions. This is a temporary, full-time seasonal position from 4/1/2024 to 10/31/2024.Worksite: 212 Gray Wolf Ave. , West Yellowstone, Gallatin County, MT 59758. Duties: Perform any combination of housekeeping cleaning duties to maintain establishment(s) in a clean, orderly manner. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Wash windows, walls, and ceilings. Empty wastebaskets, empty-clean ashtrays, transport other trash, waste to disposal areas. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies, use vacuum cleaners, shampooers. Dust, wax, and polish furniture, woodwork, and equipment as necessary. Disinfect equipment, supplies, use germicides or steam-operated sterilizers. Observe precautions to protect guests and property, report found articles, damage, and theft to supervisors. Carry linens, towels, toilet items, cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts. Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, bathroom items. Keep storage areas & carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy & other related Housekeeping/Laundry activities as per SOC/OES 37-2012 (onetonline.org). Hours may fluctuate based on tourism peaks and valleys throughout the season (/-), possible downtime and/or overtime. Terms: Employer will comply with all applicable Federal, State and local employment-related laws and regulations such as wages, breaks, hours worked, and overtime hours (overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. If overtime is worked, wage is paid at 1.5x regular rate of pay per hour worked beyond 40 hours each week.).Requirements: Must be 18 due to insurance. Must show proof of legal authority to work in the U.S. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone. Perform physical activities: such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 40lbs. No minimum education requirement. On-the-job training available. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Wages & Conditions of Employment: $14.70/Hour up to possible $18.00/Hour OT $22.05/Hour up to possible $27.00/Hour. Wage may vary based on Experience. Will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Wage paid every two weeks. All deductions required by law will be made by the employer as well as any further tax withholding or other reasonable deduction(s) authorized by the worker. At Employer's sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed); possible cash advances (if applicable/requested by worker, potential deduction from worker's paycheck).Possible offered daily/weekly hours: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM. 35 (plus); not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Employees can be expected to work various shifts between the hours of operation, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Weekly schedule may vary. 7-hour shifts with one 30-minute lunch break are standard. Possible weekend/holiday work.Inbound and Outbound Transportation (Initial Arrival & Contract Completion/Subsequent Departure): The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at the rate required at the time of travel (currently $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts). Transportation and subsistence will be reimbursed (by check in 1st work week) for cost from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment. Will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fee
