Turndown Attendant
Hours : 2 pm - 10:30 pm

The Turndown Attendant prepares the room for the night so that guests feel at home and can easily go to bed upon returning to their room.
General Purpose:
Provides turndown services to all guests, as well as other duties.
Essential Duties:
- Communicates with guest requests to an appropriate supervisor in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform satisfactory routine housekeeping duties in guest rooms, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and straightening: cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, replacing linens and towels, and replenishing amenities, etc.
- Perform satisfactory turndown services in guest rooms, including emptying trash, removing used service items, removing bed covers, turning down bed linens, closing shutters, and turning on bedside light, etc.
- Notify Supervisor of rooms refusing turndown service or showing a privacy sign.
- Report any deficiencies and maintenance needs in guest rooms.
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of linen closets.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled and assigned.
- Follow all policies and procedures of Nicewonder Properties.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
- Detail oriented
- Organized and efficient
- Able to work productively with little supervision
- Able to speak, read, and write basic English and follow simple verbal and written instructions
- Able to stand and walk moderate distances throughout shifts. Bends, stoops, and reaches to perform routine job tasks. Routinely required to handle and move objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
