AddressOversees the safe, efficient, and smooth operation of the Housekeeping team at Associate Housing.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises, directs, counsels and disciplines line associates.
- Delegates assignments to supervisors, line staff and provides follow up, assuring proper completion.
- Ensures all duties in a location are performed in a safe manner and by established guidelines.
- Responds to and takes appropriate action to resolve concerns and complaints from residents.
- Ensures the cleanliness of all Housekeeping areas and assists the staff as needed.
- Assures staff has proper equipment and adequate supplies to complete job tasks. Notifies Maintenance of equipment problems, building repairs, etc. necessary to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Helps with development of department training programs, manuals, and procedures under the supervision of the Area Manager. Verifies associates are trained on all aspects of the operation.
- Performs all duties of Line Associates, Housekeepers as needed.
- Completes administrative paperwork as required by the department.
- Coach and assists in counseling with the associates, supervisors and assistant area supervisors.
- Be trained in the proper use of all chemicals necessary for all Park Services positions.
- Conducts meetings with the associates and supervisors to provide them with the necessary information to effectively perform their job duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 1-2 years previous Housekeeping supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication (verbal, written & listening)skills, especially dealing with the public as well as associates.
- Demostrated leadership experience.Good analytical, interpersonal and planning skills.
- Open availability to fill a rotating 25-40 hour schedule, to include nights, and wekeends.
