Duties:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and usage
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to coordinate guest requests and resolve issues
- Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff by enforcing safety policies and procedures
- Monitor budget and expenses related to housekeeping operations
Experience:
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is required
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices is preferred
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping operations is a plus
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
