As the Housekeeping Manager for our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:
- Supervise Housekeepers, Laundry Attendants and House Persons.
- Schedule department team members based on occupancy forecast and demands of hotel.
- Inspect rooms and public areas after housekeeping staff have completed cleaning duties to ensure they are ready for guest use and meet expectations.
- Inventory Control– maintain adequate inventory levels and conduct monthly inventories.
- Hire, coach and counsel housekeeping staff members.
- Will clean rooms, as needed, in the event of short staffing.
- Assist with laundry as needed.
The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:
- Previous housekeeping and supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of hotel room deep cleaning process.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependability and regular attendance.
- Ability to interact with guests and co-workers in a courteous, empathetic and discreet manner.
- Ability to lift or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work weekends.
