Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping operations of the hotel, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout the premises.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Train, supervise, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective performance.
- Schedule and assign duties to housekeeping staff, ensuring proper coverage for all areas of the hotel.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
- Handle guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and adhere to budgetary guidelines for the housekeeping department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
