Greenbriar Nursing Center in D'Iberville is seeking a dedicated and reliable full-time Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of residents' rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
• Empty and dispose of trash and waste materials.
• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness is maintained in all areas.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
• Respond to residents' requests and concerns in a courteous and timely manner.

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects if necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of infection control practices is a plus.
