Housekeeping Inspector

We are looking for a motivated houseman/housekeeping attendant to join our rapidly growing team! The ideal candidate will be an energetic and friendly individual with aspirations to become an Inspector or Housekeeping Supervisor. Your daily tasks will be to support the Inspection team and satisfying guest requests as needed. $18.00 - $22.00 hourly

Key Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping support to our team of inspectors across our portfolio of properties
• Assist inspectors with pre-arrival and departure inspections, conducting inspections directly on an as-needed basis
• Conduct refresh cleans
• Work with dispatch to ensure any/all outstanding inspection items from the day prior are addressed prior to assisting with the current day’s tickets
• Ensure all auxiliary item requests are satisfied, inclusive of the ordering, delivery, and removal of cribs, refrigerators, extra linens, towels, etc.
• Assists in maintaining Villatel's back-of-house (Housekeeping and Inspection areas only)
• Perform auxiliary housekeeping tasks and light maintenance-related tasks as needed
• Ensures proper use of inventory and supplies, making notes to supervisor/manager when supplies are low and/or missing
• Reports any missing, damaged, or maintenance issues in homes immediately, following established processes
• Communicates any guest issues and feedback to the management team to ensure appropriate actions are taken
• Complies with and ensures compliance with security procedures
• Works extra shifts and hours as required
• Assists in other departments as needed

• 2+ years’ experience in housekeeping with 1+ year experience as a Housekeeping Inspector or housekeeping supervisor/manager
• Build and maintain an exceptional knowledge of our brand and respective guidelines/standards
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Have a flexible schedule, able to work weekends
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
• Previous experience working with work-order software is a plus
• Must be able to climb steps, bend, crouch, walk and stand for long periods of time, kneel, etc.
• Have a valid driver’s license
