Today, Kittson Healthcare is a twelve-bed acute care federally designated Critical Access Hospital and fifty bed long term care facility which also includes a home healthcare agency, 8 bed assisted living facility and an ambulance service. There is a medical clinic located in the complex as well as a satellite medical clinic in Karlstad, Minnesota. Job summary:

1. Perform all cleaning duties--daily, monthly, and quarterly--required to maintain the facility in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
2. Maintain responsibility for the safety of staff, residents, patients and visitors while performing these duties.
3. Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies in good order and stored in a safe area.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Proficiently be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work independently and be able to work effectively as a team member.
• Familiarity with use of environmental services supplies and equipment.
• Commitment to quality/infection control.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate or GED.
  • if attending High School must be 16 years or older.
• Must pass MN background check, accompanied with finger printing.
• Complete TB test within the first 3 weeks of employment.

JOB SCHEUDLE/LOCATION(S):

• Hallock, MN and Karlstad, MN
• Shifts 6:00-2:30pm or 5:30pm-1:00am
• Every other weekend and every other holiday availability.
• Nursing Home/Long-term care, Hospital, Clinic setting.
