We are seeking a Facility Maintenance Worker to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility building areas, while also assisting with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a tidy and orderly environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Empty and clean all wastebaskets throughout the facility, disposing of waste appropriately.

  • Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures and surfaces, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors.

  • Perform dry and wet mopping of floors, as well as operating buffing equipment for floor maintenance.

  • Conduct heavy-duty cleaning of floors and carpets using mechanical equipment and cleaning solutions.

  • Wash, scrub, and disinfect walls, windows, and doors, removing stains as necessary.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the front of the building, outside areas, and smoking areas.

  • Assist with moving furniture and equipment using appropriate tools and equipment.

  • Perform housekeeping and laundry duties as needed based on workload demands.

  • Clean and perform routine maintenance on equipment, reporting any issues for further repair.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.

  • Six to twelve months of previous related work experience preferred.
