Background:

The McIntyre Center has been treating substance use disorders for over 35 years after Edie and Joe McIntyre laid the foundation for a more individualized approach to recovery in 1985. They felt it crucial to treat the "whole person" not just the addiction. Together they were able to cultivate a unique environment that supports not only recovery but the overall well-being of their clients and the entire community.

Today, the McIntyre Center continues to take a team approach to provide each person with the best individualized, evidence-based treatment. As an employee of the McIntyre Center you’ll become part of this special team that aids recovery in the most client centered and effective way, all while providing quality care to those we serve.

Position:

The McIntyre Center is looking for a part time housekeeper. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning guests’ rooms and public areas according to a schedule and established procedures. You will also perform all laundry duties. The ideal candidate will possess strong independent skills while still seeking to be part of the family- oriented team that makes the McIntyre Center a wonderful work environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Cleans all areas as assigned according to the departmental standards, process, and procedures.
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas as directed, according to established standards, observing proper cleaning technique.
• Uses supplies in an economical and prudent manner; Reports supply and equipment needs to supervisor for replenishing.
• Ability to operate vacuums, and commercial laundry equipment.
• Additional duties as assigned or needed by supervisor.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• Cleaning: 2 years (Preferred)
