Housekeeper/Laundry

Andrew Residence is currently hiring a Housekeeping & Laundry Float!

Are you looking to make a positive contribution to the lives of people living with mental illness and have an established, predictable schedule (free from mandatory overtime)?

The Housekeeping & Laundry Float will ensure that proper housekeeping & laundry coverage throughout the building is met as assigned by supervisor, along with completing their regularly assigned housekeeping and laundry duties.

Current opening:

• Full-time (1.0 FTE), Day shift (7:00a-3:30p)
• Includes two holidays per year
• Includes every 4th weekend rotation (hours are 8a-4:30p on weekends) with following Monday/Tuesday off

Compensation:

• $19.07 - $19.57 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and state mandated criminal background check
• Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

COVID-19 considerations: PPE is provided to all employees and we follow the recommendations from MDH and the CDC. CDC guidelines for COVID-19 vaccination recommend that everyone stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines including booster doses. COVID vaccination for Andrew Residence employees is not required, but is highly encouraged.

Andrew Residence is a residential mental health treatment and nursing facility. Our multi-disciplinary teams serve adults experiencing mental illness and co-occurring disorders. We offer evidence based, collaborative and trauma-informed treatment services that align with an individual’s personal goals and needs. In addition to our mental health programming, we provide a broad range of physical health care services by our 24 hour nursing team. Andrew is for those who do not need psychiatric hospitalization and are working to achieve success living independently.
