SalaryThe Lutheran Home is looking for a housekeeper with excellent cleanliness standards to join our Saxony Village team. In this position, you will be an essential team member helping us to create a clean and inviting environment for our retirement community. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Performs specific daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping tasks as assigned.
- Maintains cleanliness in the resident’s apartment or duplex.
- Clean public restrooms and restock toiletries as needed.
- Empty the trash cans and dispose of the waste in designated areas.
- Keep hallways swept, mopped, and/or vacuumed.
- Clean all of the common areas of Saxony Manor.
- Follow proper techniques in the use of chemicals and potentially hazardous materials in the workplace and insure they are locked up when not in use.
- Shampoo rugs as needed.
- Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance and report findings per policy.
- Ensures a team culture that promotes a safe, fair, and cooperative environment.
